Two Coyotes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing healthy, whole human beings through building self-awareness, community, and connecting people to nature, has announced the expansion of its adult programs and is also offering free potlucks and contra dance events, including a dance event this Saturday, October 17.

The new fall and winter adult programs will include a variety of nature-based workshops, such as a transformational monthly women’s program, friction fire class on making brow drill fire, intensive herbal medicine courses, and a winter wildlife tracking class.

All events and adult workshops will take place at Sticks and Stones Farm, 201 Huntingtown Road in Newtown.

A free Two Coyotes Contra Dance is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 6 to 9 pm. Those planning to attend are asked to bring potluck finger food.

A number of free family events have also been slated, including a free Ancestor Feast Potluck for all ages on Thursday, November 5. Those who would like to attend the event, which will run from 5 to 8 pm, are asked to bring a potluck dish from their family tradition and stories to share.

A Winter Potluck and Yankee Gift Swap, also free of charge, has been planned for Thursday, December 3, from 5 to 8 pm. Families are asked to bring a potluck meal to this event also.
