Police Make Sugar Street Drug Bust
Based on an investigation by the police detective unit, police sought and received a search-and-seizure warrant for 7 Sugar Street, which they executed on October 1.
Police said that on searching the residence, they found several marijuana-smoking devices, needles, empty packets suspected of being used to hold heroin, some marijuana, and a healthy marijuana plant.
Police said they charged Victor Alex Stendbergh, 20, of that address, with cultivation of marijuana, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police also charged Linse Stendbergh, 18, of that address, with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, police arrested Jeff Ruopp, 21, of that address, charging him with interfering with police in connection with his behavior while the police search of the home was being conducted, police said.
After his arrest, police held Victor Stendbergh on $1,000 bail for an October 2 arraignment in Danbury Superior Court. After his arraignment, he was released on a written promise to appear in court on October 10.
Police released Linse Stendbergh on a written promise to appear in court on October 23.
Police released Ruopp on $250 bail for an October 23 court appearance.
