Church Sponsors Bible School

Community Presbyterian Church in Newtown is sponsoring its 6th Annual Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) from 9 am to noon starting on Monday, July 31, and running through Friday, August 4, for the children of Newtown and surrounding towns. There is no charge for children to attend.

This year’s theme is “The King is Coming.” Tthe week will include music, Bible lesson, crafts and refreshments. Classes will have teachers and assistants, and grades range from kindergarten through middle school.

In addition to Newtown and Sandy Hook, previous DVBS kids have come from Danbury, Bethel, Monroe, Southbury and Ridgefield.
