ANTIQUES IN THE COUNTRY, A NEW SHOW BY ELLEN KATONA & BOB LUTZ, MAY 5 W/1 cut requested

SERGEANTSVILLE, N.J.  — On Saturday, May 5, promoters Ellen Katona and Bob Lutz will begin their season of antiques shows with a new show, Antiques in the Country, for the benefit of the Delaware Township Historical Society. The show will be held in the gymnasium of the Delaware Township Middle School, about a half-mile east of the blinker light on Sergeantsville-Ringoes Road.

There will be 40 exhibitors displaying their antiques. Items to be found include antique quilts, country furniture, period furniture, early lighting, basketry, garden and architectural antiquities, antique linens, early glass, antique jewelry and silver, porcelains, doorstops and a myriad of other antiques of various periods.

A sampling of the exhibitors from Pennsylvania are Jim Murphy, Gettysburg; Ruth Van Peckmann, Philadelphia; Ken Vliet, Danielsville; Linda Geroff, Huntingdon Valley; Margaret Schenck, Harrisburg; Ivy Iris Antiques, Bedminister; and Red Sleigh Antiques, Langhorne.

Fine exhibitors from other states include: C.J. Brown, Staten Island, N.Y.; River Country Antiques, Piermont, N.Y.; and Gene & Jo Sue Coppa, Farmington, Conn.

New Jersey exhibitors include Sugar Princess, Montville; Royal Port Antiques, Salem; Mary Cruz, Lambertville; Neat Olde Things, Morristown;  Silver Thyme Ent, Princeton; Gordon & Normandie Schell, Galloway; Sue Murphy, Milford; Carol Woodbridge, Princeton; and Engelmann Antiques, Long Valley.

The show will be open from 10 am to 5 pm with food provided by Ol’ West Barbecue, Clinton, N.J.
