Rich and Noreen Guman of Newtown announce the birth of a son, Richard James Guman, on June 20 at Danbury Hospital.

Richard weighed eight pounds one ounce and was 20 inches in length.

His maternal grandparents are James Comerford of Sandy Hook and the late Eileen Comerford.

Richard’s paternal grandparents are Richard and Betty Guman of Brookfield and Ed and Nancy Raymond of Newtown and the late Tina Raymond.

His paternal great-grandmother is Mary Baron of Norwalk.
