Eastman Student & Teacher At Merryall This Weekend

NEW MILFORD — On Saturday, June 23, at 8:30 pm, classical pianist Solungga Fang-Tzu Liu will perform the final concert of this season’s Eastman School of Music series at Merryall Center for the Arts.

Ms Liu, an outstanding pianist, will, along with Gregory Mertl, present a beautiful and varied program of works of Brahms, Bach/Busoni and Prokofiev.

Ms Liu has been an active soloist and concert pianist throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Eastman School of Music.

Mr Mertl, a New Milford resident, is a composer and faculty member at Eastman School of Music and also a doctoral candidate at Eastman.
