Betty S. Seeley

Born In Sandy Hook

Betty S. Seeley, 78, of Harleysville, Penn., and a resident of the Indian Valley area of Pennsylvania since 1976, died March 9, at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, Penn. Born May 21, 1932, in Sandy Hook, she was a daughter of Muriel (Kiernan) and William E. Seman.

She attended school in Newtown, and later attended nursing school. She was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years at Souderton Mennonite Homes in Souderton, Penn. and ManorCare Health Services in Lansdale, Penn.

Surviving are three sons, William Seeley, Jr, David Seeley, and his wife Donna, and Scott Seeley, and his partner Susan, and a daughter, Patty Stigliano, and her husband Tom, all of Pennsylvania; a brother, Walter Seman, and his wife Marcia, of Venice, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Seeley, Sr, in 2003.

Mrs Seeley was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit. She was deeply devoted to her family.

Funeral service took place March 14, in Harleysville, Penn. Burial was at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
