Announces New Appointment

SHELTON — William Raveis, chairman and CEO of William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services, has announced the appointment of Newtown resident Jackie Himmelfarb to the firm’s Newtown office. Ms Himmelfarb will join the Raveis team as a realtor and team member of the Maurer Family & Associates.

“We’re pleased to have Jackie on board, and confident she’ll bring added value to the home buying and selling experience for all her customers,” Mr Raveis said. “Ms Himmelfarb brings with her a great deal of enthusiasm and energy, and shares the firm’s commitment to personalized service that’s customized to every individual’s specific needs.”

Ms Himmelfarb holds a degree in business merchandising from Northwood University, Midland, Mich. Her career began as a department store buyer for May Department Stores in both the New York domestic markets and International overseas markets.

 Ms Himmelfarb has been an active member of the Newtown PTA. She was PTA president for Reed Intermediate School and Head O’ Meadow School PTA.

Ms Himmelfarb, her husband, Steven, and daughter, Jenna, have resided in Newtown for ten years.
