Preferred Computer Systems 20, The Newtown Bee 17 – PCS took a 16-3 into the sixth innings, but The Bee scored 10 runs in the bottom of the frame to make it a close game. Ali Legros, Lisa Alberico, Kate DeSimone, Becky Sampson, Katie Midlik and Amy Rosentel powered the PCS offense. Alyson Graham, Jessica Rockwell, Hilary Smith, Angela Viesto and Darie Maruschak sparkled in the field.

The Newtown Bee 18, Villa Restaurant 6 – Hilary Moskowitz pitched well for an undermanned Villa team in playoff action. Sara Regensberger, Katie Datin, and Corrine Yllanes played well in the field.

Dr Curtis Beck 13, JP Maguire 5 – Alyssa Krueger belted a double and Zoe Rabinowtiz drove in three runs to lead Dr Beck to the win. Julie Meehan and Lauren Johnson combined on the mound for eight strikeouts. For Maguire, Maura McDade pitched well while Kelly Lindel and Genna Rossi (unassisted double play) sparked the defense.

Century 21 18, Dr Gellert 12 – Megan Murphy banged out three hits, including a double, to lead Dr Gellert. Brady Egglestron, Erica Fahey, Hannah Basch-Gould and Danielle Rubino had two hits apiece. Marissa Saravis drove in two runs.

Burton Builders 6, Newtown Insurance 5 – Brooke Fell and Kelly Burton pitched well to lead Burton to a first-round playoff win. Tara Hiteshew and Taylor Johnson powered the offense. For Newtown Insurance, Aria Brownell and Nicole Scalora hit the ball hard as Stephanie Sanchez pitched a fine game.
