Goodspeed has also added special matinee performances of the Tony Award-winning musical, which continues through July 1.

Additional performances will be presented Tuesday, June 27, and Friday, June 30, at 2 pm, and Saturday, July 1, at 2 and 6:30 pm. The regular performance schedule is Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 8:30 pm, and Sunday at 6:30 pm, with matinees Wednesday and Sunday at 2 pm, and Saturday at 4 pm. Call Goodspeed’s box office, 860/873-8668, for ticket prices and availability.

Based on Miguel de Cervantes’ early 17th Century novel Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha takes audiences to a mystical realm of beautiful windmills and exciting knight-errantry. Written by Dale Wasseman with lyrics by Joe Darion and music by Mitch Leigh, the musical features the memorable tunes “Man of La Mancha (I, Don Quixote),” “Dulcinea” and “The Impossible Dream (The Quest),” among others.
