New Calendar

Now Available

TORRINGTON — The 2000 Home & Garden Calendar, produced by the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension System, is now available. This year’s calendar is a fundraiser for the Litchfield County Extension Service Association and reflects the cooperative team work of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

The Year 2000 calendar covers issues affecting consumers, including home horticulture, entomology, food safety and nutrition, drinking water, septic system management, family financial management and indoor air quality. Every day of the year has a gardening or consumer tip.

The 11 inch wide by 8-1/2  inch-long calendar is available for $5 picked-up or $7 if mailed. Make checks payable to LCESA and mail to the Torrington Cooperative Extension System, 1304 Winsted Road, Torrington, CT 06790. 860/626-6240.
