Karli & Anfin Erickson

Karli Raub Beitel and Anfin Stewart Erickson were married July 10, 2010, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Newtown, by Dr Gregory J. Wismar. A reception immediately followed at The Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.

The bride is the daughter of Raub Beitel of Newtown and Sharon Epple of Bethel. The bridegroom is the son of Jay and Meg Erickson of Whitefish, Mont.

The bride was given into marriage by her parents. She wore an ivory strapless gown with pearl, rhinestone, and lace accents.  She carried a bouquet of light blue hydrangea, white roses, white freesia, and bupleurum.

Katherine Vonderhaar of Wheaton, Ill., the best friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Emily Geisler of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., the cousin of the bride, was the bridesmaid. They wore strapless navy blue satin gowns and carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet accented with blue delphinium.

William Erickson of Whitefish, Mont., brother of the groom, was the best man. Max and Christian Beitel of Newtown, brothers of the bride, were the groomsmen.

Malia and Kaia Gioffre of Newtown, friends of the couple, were the flower girls and each carried a blue hydrangea. Kenna Gioffre of Newtown was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 2006 and from Dartmouth College in June 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in history. The groom graduated from Whitefish High School in 2005 and also from Dartmouth College this past June with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.

After a wedding trip to Lake Kimble, Minnesota, the Ericksons are residing in Montana.
