Lynn Wesley    Herring

Lynn Wesley Herring, 86, of Fairfield died March 4 at Park Health Care Center, Fairfield.

Survivors include his son, John (Donald) Herring and wife, Donna, of Newtown; his daughter, Annette Papastavros of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Patrick and Emma Herring and Jessica, Christina, and Nicholas Papastavros; one sister, Gertrude Kurtelowitz; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters.

Born in Verona, N.Y., he was he son of the late Roger and Maude (Grems) Herring. He was a Bridgeport resident for the past 55 years, residing in Fairfield for the past 13 years. Mr Herring was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Bridgeport, an avid bowler, and had a great sense of humor.

The funeral was March 8 in St Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.

The family would like to thank the special nurses and CNAs of 3030 Park Health Care Center, Fairfield, for their loving care and friendship over the past 13 years.
