Botsford Fire Rescue will present its annual summer event this month.

The fire company will host Botsford Summer Bash on Saturday, August 24, from 5 to 11 pm.

The public is invited to join members of the volunteer fire and rescue company at their station, 315 South Main Street, for live music and plenty of food options.

Admission is free.

Frandango will begin performing at 6, and the grill will be running all night. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase ribs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and ice cream from Ferris Acres Creamery.

Soft drinks and bar drinks will also be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Botsford Fire Rescue, one of Newtown’s five volunteer fire companies.
