Juniors Launch Backpack Program

The Newtown Junior Woman’s Club is gearing up for its annual Back-to-School Backpack Program and is looking for your support. Working in conjunction with Newtown Social Services, the club is working to provide backpacks filled with school supplies for Newtown students whose families are in need. The Juniors need to raise $1,500. Each $25 donation will cover the cost of one backpack and its contents. Modeling some of this year’s backpacks are (from left) Devon Wiggers, Allie Didomizio, Joradan Wiggers, Daniel Rahmlow, Kelsey Rahmlow, Robert Mascher, Libby Didomizio.
