Watercolor Collection On View At Library This Month
Eleven local painters have coordinated efforts to put together the newest exhibition for C.H. Booth Library.
Artist and teacher Claudia Mitchell is being joined by students and painters Robyn Dohrenwend, Bambi Engelman, Meg Gioffe, Martha Glynn, Margaret Hull, Kyra Middeleer, Maureen Rohmer, Michelle Rosenthal, Arlene Spoonfeather and Marianne Zelno for âHereâs To Painting!â
Some of the artists in the show have been painting with Ms Mitchell for 20 years.
âIt has been so wonderful. It has been a blessing for me,â she said. âIt keeps me working at this thing that I love.
âAll of the women involved in this show are wonderful,â she continued. âIt was fantastic to see the works compiled and on view together in one room [when the collection was being hung on October 31].â
The collection went on view in the community/meeting room at C.H. Booth Library last weekend and the artists invite the public to join them for an opening reception on Sunday, November 8, from 2 to 4 pm. The show will remain on view until November 30.
