Bay Buchanan

At WCSU

DANBURY — “Bay” Buchanan, government official, campaign manager and the sister of presidential hopeful and CNN commentator Pat Buchanan, will talk about next year’s political contests at 7:30 pm, Thursday, November 4, at Western Connecticut State University’s Midtown campus.

Pat Buchanan is the author of the recent controversial book about World War II and Hitler. Mr Buchanan is considering a run on the Reform Party ticket.

The appearance by Ms Buchanan, arranged by the student Program Activities Council, will be at the Ives Concert Hall, White Hall, 181 White Street. Admission is free and open to the public. Her topic is “Election 2000.”

After her presentation, she and Western’s Harold Schramm, of the justice and law administration department, will engage in a staged crossfire.

A Washington, D.C. native, Angela “Bay” Buchanan first gained national attention when former President Ronald Reagan named her treasurer of the United States. The appointment came when she was 32, making her the youngest person to hold the office since its creation in 1775.
