Newtown Volunteer Ambulance responded to 47 calls during the period of May 27 to June 2.
There were 21 medical calls, 21 trauma calls, and five standby/other calls.
Medical: respiratory, 3; cardiac, 4; seizure, 3; diabetic, 2; miscellaneous, 9.
Trauma: 8 vehicular; 13 non-vehicular.
Twenty-four persons were transported to the hospital; 23 were not transported.
The ages: infant to 8, 1; 9-21, 10; 22-60, 17; over 60, 19.
Twenty-seven were males; 20 were females.
Six calls were between midnight and 8 am; 21 between 8 am and 4 pm; 20 calls between 4 pm and midnight.
