Openings In Continuing Education Classes

Newtown Continuing Education still has limited space in the following classes:

Pottery — An introduction to pottery using hand-building techniques and the wheel taught by potter Karen Pinto, Tuesdays. Eight classes beginning March 15, 7 to 9 pm; fee $119

Bring Your Home Improvement Project to Bruce — Bruce Goulart, a contractor, will discuss a variety of projects from flooring to sheetrock, kitchen and bath renovation to roofing and any other project that students might have. Bruce will address individual projects from start to finish. Tuesdays, eight classes beginning March 22, 7 to 9 pm; fee $89

Beginner Italian — Enjoy learning a language in a relaxing atmosphere taught with authenticity by a native teacher. Emphasis is on oral expression and comprehensions. Classes are taught by the experts at Linguataal International, Tuesdays, ten classes beginning March 29, 6:30 to 7:30 pm; fee $128
