SLUG: 2009 HEART OF COUNTRY SHOW SET FOR MARCH 12-14

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Scheduling conflicts at Gaylord Opryland Hotel have forced St Louis, Mo., based show promoter Kramer Hunkins & Associates to reschedule the Heart of Country Antiques Show, typically on Valentine’s Day weekend in February, for Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14, 2009. The gala preview party is planned for Thursday, March 12. Management has locked up desirable February dates for 2010 and 2011.

“I wish we could have the same dates every year. Nevertheless, I feel very good about Heart’s new direction and confident about 2009,” said Pat Garthoeffner, returning for her second season as show director.

Heart’s March dates put it in conflict with the 2009 Connecticut Spring Antiques Show, but not with antiques events in Winnetka, Ill., Charleston, S.C., or Alexandria, Va.
