MOW Needs Drivers

Residents looking for an opportunity to volunteer may be interested to learn that Meals On Wheels (MOW) needs volunteers who are willing to donate as little as 60 minutes each month.

Each weekday, this nonprofit organization’s volunteer drivers pick up nutritious meals prepared at Masonicare of Newtown and deliver them to persons who are housebound, including elderly people who live alone, and younger people who are temporarily incapacitated.

MOW needs drivers to deliver these meals, which are delivered once each day around lunchtime.
