To the Editor:

My husband Scott and I and our children would like to thank HomeFront and Gordon Williams, Jerry Cole, Doug, Bob, Bruce Hoag, Mr Kovacs, and the countless people who showed up on Saturday, May 4, to help us with some projects we needed to get done. They scraped all the trim, sanded and painted, replaced a toilet and fixed one (Bruce was a champ), fixed two windows, freezer board, leaking chimney, and other things that needed to be done.

We are beyond grateful — and what a fabulous bunch of people to take time out of their schedule and come out and work on our home. Since we lost our daughter and adopted her three young daughters, we don’t have much time to do things around the house, so every little bit helps, and they went above and beyond. Jerry even came back to help us complete a couple other things that had to be done.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It’s nice to know there are still so many good people in the world, and I am honored to have met each and every one of them. Also, thank you to the HomeFront group that stopped by the house to see us, too.
