The bride is the daughter of Marie Saputo of Danbury and John Saputo of Sandy Hook.

The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Larry Rich of Arden, N.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The maid of honor was Cindy Saputo of Danbury.

The bridesmaids were Denise Vadas of Sandy Hook, Joan Whitaker of Beacon Falls, and Laura Rich of Arden, N.C.

The best man was Tony Pietrini of Southbury.

The ushers were Dan Schenzer of Sandy Hook, Tom Rich of Arden, N.C., and Patrick Hoeft of Eau Claire, Wis.

The flower girl was Morgan Vadas of Sandy Hook.

The bride is a 1990 graduate of Newtown High School. She is a clerk at the Newtown Post Office.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Roberson High School and received a bachelor of science and a bachelor of arts degree at Appalachian State University in 1995. He is a landscaper with ATP Landscaping in Southbury.

The reception was held at the Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.

Following a wedding trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the couple is residing in New Milford.
