Rear-Ender

Motorist Lindsay Mastroianni, 17, of 6 Drummer’s Lane, who was driving a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastward on Church Hill Road at about 7:25 pm March 15, stopped at the intersection of Church Hill Road and Commerce Road to allow an ambulance, which had its lights and siren running, to enter the intersection from Commerce Road, police said.

Eastbound motorist Alexis Barry, 16, of 9 Washbrook Road, who was driving a 1996 Hyundai Accent, then drove into the rear end of the Jeep, police said. There were no injuries. Police said they issued Barry a written warning for following too closely.

Church Hill Collision

Motorist Alesandra Fischetti, 41, of Monroe, who was driving a 1995 Toyota Camry at about 2:05 pm March 19, pulled out of a driveway at 111 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook Center and collided with eastward motorist Wade Wallace, 32, of Bethel, who was driving a 1995 Saturn SL-2, police said.

There were no injuries. Police issued Fischetti a written warning for failure to grant the right of way from a private driveway.
