How Is It Possible?
How Is It Possible?
Dear Editor:
I am writing to alert you of a concern that some Newtown residents might not be aware of. I work in Fairfield, Southport actually. I cross over into Westport often. What is surprising to me is that gas in Newtown is much more expensive than in lower Fairfield County. With the price of gas as extreme as it already is, it is disconcerting that Newtown is paying more than communities that are considered even more affluent.
I am looking at a gas station sign out my office window in Fairfield that is selling super unleaded for that same price as regular unleaded at the gas station on Route 302. I, and probably other Newtown residents who donât have the luxury of buying cheaper gas in Fairfield, would like to know how this is possible.
