Connecticut Better Business Bureau Earns National Recognition
WALLINGFORD â The Better Business Bureau, Inc (BBB) that serves the state of Connecticut has earned recognition from its national organization as meeting all standards of performance and related policies.
Every three years the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) in Arlington, Va., audits each of the nationâs 121 BBBâs against 23 operating standards and other system policies. The evaluation program includes examination of consumer complaint handling, finances, training, business reporting, and standards of business membership. The Connecticut Better Business Bureau was approved by the CBBB Board of Directors as meeting all standards and policies on June 7.
In announcing Connecticut BBBââs accomplishment, CBBB President Ken Hunter said, âThrough our Triennial Evaluation process, the BBB system is making important progress to ensure quality control and a level of service excellence among all bureaus. We are gratified that the BBB of Connecticut has been judged to meet our systemâs standards.â
Connecticut BBB president, Paulette Hotton, noted, âIt is important that an organization like the BBB, which promotes business ethics and integrity, operates in a businesslike fashion itself. Our success is based on a good staff, involved board members, and a concerned business community that promotes BBB principles in our region.â
