Generous And Loving

Louise (Galiano) Morello, 84, died December 24 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. She was born in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Antonio and Theresa (Petitone) Galiano.

Mrs Morello is survived by two daughters, Gail O’Dell and her husband, Pat, of Sandy Hook and Lu Ann Miller and her husband, Eric, of New Mexico. She also leaves three grandchildren, Erin, PJ, and Kathie; a sister, Grace Lapilla of Berlin; and a brother, Louis Galiano and his wife, Mary, of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs Morello lived in New Britain and Newington for most of her life, and moved most recently to Manchester. She was a member of St Bridgett’s Church in Manchester and retired from Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance Company.

She was a loving and giving mother and grandmother, who loved to knit and crotchet and donated her handiwork to people who needed it.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, at 10:30 am, at St Ann’s Church on North Street, New Britain. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects on Saturday morning, December 30, at New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, from 9 am until the time of the service.
