Hints For Holiday Health

WATERBURY — On November 20 the Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC) Allied Health and Nursing departments will participate in a Community Awareness Day entitled Hints for Holiday Health. An information booth will be set up from 10 am to 2 pm outside J.C. Penney at Brass Mill Center Mall, 525 Union Street.

Students from the respiratory care, physical therapist assistant and nursing programs will distribute information pertaining to smoking cessation, respiratory infections, snow shoveling safety and weather-related considerations for exercise, facts on nutrition, and information on coping with emotional stress and bereavement.
