Concert Will Be A Journey

For Ears And Eyes

DANBURY — Danbury Music Centre will present “Journey to the East,” an evocation of an imaginary trip as seen and heard through the eyes and ears of a small band of travelers. The performance will be Saturday, September 10, at 8 pm, in the Marian Anderson Recital Hall of Danbury Music Centre.

Compositions that conjure the experience of travel over time and continents will represent Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Persia, India, Thailand, Korea, and Japan. There will also be a musical appearance of Monkey, the mythical character from Ancient Chinese literature. Admission is free. For additional information, call 748-1716.
