To the Editor:

When I ran for Legislative Council two years ago, in 2017, I saw the need to advocate for our community. I remain committed to advocating for Newtown. That is why it is my pleasure to announce I have stepped up to run for Legislative Council-District 2, again.

People who know me best know I am earnest, persistent, and value integrity. I am a working person; like many in our community, I sometimes struggle to keep moving forward. However, that motivates me to serve our town and represent my community, neighbors, and family.

I believe I possess new and innovative ideas to help our community. Ideas that will allow for a sustainable Newtown that works for everyone. I believe we need community development — not just economic development. We need to retain the traditions of the town while helping it prosper.

I look forward to talking to members of our community between now and November 5th.
