Program On Underage Drinking

Set For March 25

The second meeting for the Community Conversation on Underage Drinking, underwritten by a grant from the William Caspar Gruastein Fund, is scheduled for Thursday, March 25, from 5 to 7:30 pm, at Reed Intermediate School. The first meeting for the conversation was held on January 23, with more than 100 community members attending.

The March 25 event will bring suggestions from the first conversation together to create action plans of the topic of underage drinking. Community members interested in attending must RSVP to Blanchardj@newtown.k12.ct.us or call 203-426-2798. District Health Coordinator Judy Blanchard said school staff, students, parents, and community members are invited to attend. Supper will be provided during the event.
