The Board of Selectmen last week made appointments to local boards and commissions.

Democrat Joseph Hemingway of 10 Overlook Knoll was appointed to the Economic Development Commission (EDC) for a two-year term.

Democrat Donald C. Collier of 93 Birch Hill Road was appointed to a two-year term on the Conservation Commission. He fills the void left by the resignation of Democrat Ed Dudeck.

Democrat Scott Graves of 8 Pond Brook Road was appointed to a two-year term on the Parks & Recreation Commission to replace the opening left by the resignation of Democrat Roger Connor.
