WATERBURY — After a hiatus of three months, Mattatuck Museum’s First Thursday after-hours event will return, retooled and now to be held on the first Friday of each month. Inaugurating the First Fridays event on March 3, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, will be Doot!, an avant-garde jazz trio from New Haven.

First Fridays will be at Mattatuck Museum at 144 West Main Street and will include live music, complimentary light food, and access to some of the museum’s exhibits. Admission is $5 for museum members and $10 for non-members. Parking is available directly behind the museum on Park Place.
