Victorian Tea

& Sale Planned

SOUTH BRITAIN — The Gathering Room of South Britain Congregational Church Parish House will become a restful place to shop and relax on Saturday, December 2. From 11 am to 3 pm, the ladies of the church will host their Annual Victorian Tea.

Items for sale will include hand-knit sweaters, hats, scarves and mittens, hand-painted ornaments, everlasting tabletop trees, poinsettias, baked goods, fudge, fresh spruce and pine sprays and bluebird houses.

Lunch will feature a variety of tea sandwiches, cakes, cookies, holiday punch, coffee and tea. While relaxing in the dining room, guests will be entertained by harpist Olivia Lawson at noon and pianist Gwen Gurnack at 1 pm.

Admission is free.

The church is at the intersection of Route 172 and East Flat Hill Road, approximately one mile north of I-84 Exit 14.
