Taking Care Of Finances

Newtown Congregational Church is sponsoring a public financial forum to take place on Tuesday, October 17, at 7:30 pm. The forum will take place in the Great Room at the church, 14 West Street.

There will be two speakers. The first will be Jean Leonard of Ameriprise, who will talk on creating a household budget and managing debt.

The second presentation will be by Donald Studley, CPA, who will make a presentation on tax efficient giving.

Both of these speakers are well-known citizens of Newtown with well-recognized reputations in the areas of their talks.

The purpose of the forum is to raise concern while providing knowledge on the importance of managing money in all aspects of life.
