YAB Tag Sale

The high school Youth Advisory Board of Newtown Youth Services will hold a tag sale on Saturday, November 13, from 9 am to 4 pm in the Memorial Room of the Congregational Church House on Main Street (the same building as Youth Services).

Space may be rented for $25 and individuals may sell their own wares or donations may be dropped off at the church house on Friday, November 12, from 2:30 to 6 pm. Alternative arrangements may be made by calling Youth Services at 270-4335.

To rent space, arrange a drop-off time, or for more information, call Newtown Youth Services at 270-4335.

All proceeds are to benefit the annual YAB scholarship given each spring to graduating seniors who live in Newtown. The application consists of an essay, artwork, or creative interpretation of questions related to youth and community services. Winners are chosen based on their application and their history of active community service throughout their high school years.
