Newtown's Best Kept Secret
Newtownâs Best Kept Secret
To the Editor,
What would you say if I told you that students and senior citizens can attend six live performances by world class artists, presenting selections by the worldâs best known composers, right here in Edmond Town Hall Auditorium â for less than $6 per concert?
This is no misprint! The Newtown Friends of Music, in its 23rd year of bringing quality live musical performances to Newtown at reasonable prices for everyone, has announced the schedule for six live concerts this year. Season tickets are now on sale to students (age 14 through college) and senior citizens (age 65+) for $35, and to adults for $45. Students under the age of 14 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. This results in a price of under $6 per concert for seniors and students, and just $7.50 for adults. Performances begin in September and run through next April.
For your season ticket and the schedule for the coming year, contact Newtown Friends of Music at 203/426-6470. Take advantage of Newtownâs Best Kept Secret!
Yours sincerely,
