*After selling out seven shows, BILLY JOEL put one more show on sale for Mohegan Sun Arena last weekend. If you’re still interested it looks like there may be seats available for the June 28 Connecticut finale.

Tickets are $49.50 and $98.50 and are available through all TicketMaster vendors and directly from the arena’s box office in Uncasville.

*Also going on sale this weekend will be the tickets for the return of ERIC CLAPTON to Connecticut. Clapton’s tour of North America will stop at Mohegan Sun on Monday, June 3, for a 7 pm performance.

Tickets are $125, $175 and $195, and will be going on sale Saturday, March 15, at 10 am, through TicketMaster vendors (online, over the counter and over the phone). Tickets will also be available at Mohegan Sun’s box office beginning Sunday, if any still remain.

Robert Randolph and The Family Band will offer the opening set.

*Also from Mohegan Sun Arena comes news that also saxophonist DAVID SANBORN will be playing in The Cabaret Theatre on Sunday, May 4, at 7 pm. Tickets are $50 for that performance and are available through TicketMaster.

*I missed letting you guys know about the onsale of the 2008 IGA Country Megaticket, and I do apologize for that. I was seriously under the weather for the first half of the week, and missed the email announcement.

Here are the details: The ticket will provide admission to six major country concerts this summer, all coming to the Dodge Music Center. The Gold Package is priced at $499 and a Premiere Parking Pass for every two of these tickets purchased. The Festival Lawn Package offers general lawn admission at the Hartford venue. The tickets cover the following shows: TIM McGRAW with JASON ALDEAN, on Sunday, June 8; BROOKS AND DUNN with RODNEY ATKINS, Saturday, June 21; BRAD PAISLEY, Thursday, July 24; TOBY KEITH with MONTGOMERY GENTRY, Sunday, August 10; RASCAL FLATTS with TAYLOR SWIFT, Friday, August 22; and MARTINA McBRIDE with JACK INGRAM, Friday, September 29.

These tickets are available online only, through MegaTicket.com.

*KANYE WEST will hit the Dodge Music Center on Friday, May 16, and those tickets have gone on sale. They’re priced at $29.50 for the lawn and $53.50 and $89.50 for the reserved seating area. Go online to LiveNation.com or through TicketMaster for these; the Dodge Music Center’s box office is not yet open for ticket sales.

Rihanna, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco will all perform opening sets.

*Toad’s Place will welcome THIRD EYE BLIND on Wednesday, May 7. Tickets are $30 and available already through etix. This will be an all ages event.

THE B. WILLIE SMITH BAND will be at the Toad on Friday, May 30, and then in June Toad’s will present former Marillion lead singer FISH. Tickets for the Tuesday, June 24 show will be on sale March 14. Prices are $17.50 in advance or $20 day of.
