Master Chorale Announces Auditions
The Connecticut Master Chorale, under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich, announces auditions for its upcoming May concert.
The May 19 concert, entitled âI Hear America Singing,â will reflect great music of America and by American composers. Selections include sacred songs, patriotic songs, folk songs, spirituals, Broadway show tunes, music from the Big Band era, and others.
The concert will be held at St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown and accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings in Southbury and begin March 20.
