To the Editor:

Most Newtowners, I'm sure, are happy regarding the traffic lights and other improvements being pro-posed at our very famous and infamous to some, flagpole.

But, hey, a little more might be proposed; such as using a turn signal located within each modern ve-hicle.  Probably offering classes as to their location, when and where they should be used, and the out-standingly negligible cost of operation.

How many drivers realize that they exist at all. It comes with every vehicle and not as an option. It also takes very little effort to operate. Do it often enough and it becomes second nature as long as it's used correctly.  Drivers should realize that it's included in the cost of their cars so shouldn't let it go to waste. Just think; a disaster might be avoided when used.
