Warrant

Police report they charged Gary Ballard of 119 Coal Pit Road, Danbury, October 7 on a warrant for failure to appear in court. The charge stems from an October, 1998 incident in which Ballard was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said. Ballard was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court October 21.

Drug Charges

Police said they charged Scott Sigmund, 22, of Bethel October 12 with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they released Sigmund on a promise to appear October 26 in Danbury Superior Court.
