Carl Sherburne

Carl Sherburne died on August 7 at his home in Bridgeport. Born in Gloversville, N.Y., on August 7, 1946, he spent most of his life in Newtown and Bridgeport.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Sherburne of Orlando, Fla., and Karen Bragg of British Columbia; two sisters, Sharon Miller of Newtown and Joan Gwara of Trumbull; a brother, James Sherburne of Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Strashart of Trumbull.

Funeral arrangements are private at the discretion of the family.
