Connolly Woodworks 11, Stony Brook Development 1 – Oliver Powers hit a three-run inside-the-park home run, Tim Bloom (three RBIs) and Clayton Makuch (two RBIs) each tripled and Ryan O’Keefe went 2-for-3 to lead Connolly. For Stony Brook, Robbie Daigle anchored the defense with two great plays and Sean Dardine banged out a double to help the offense.

Stony Brook Development 8, Union Savings Bank 5 – Stony Brook pitchers Austin Puleri, Brandon Ziman, Sean Burson, Chris Tenney and Connor Blanc combined on a one-hitter, while Kyle Watts and Connor Pineau led the defense. For Union Savings Bank, Ryan Powers pitched well and Andrew Argraves turned a double play, while Jason marks tripled to lead the offense.

Newtown Tree Service 7, Coldwell Banker 2 – Ryan Cassidy singled three times and scored two runs to lead Newtown Tree to the win. Kevin Phillips reached base three times and scored twice. Mike Reyen played a strong defensive game and Kevin Phillips pitched well.

Newtown Savings Bank 12, Newtown Tree Service 11 – Jack Kniesel struck out the side in the top of the sixth and Savings Bank rallied with two runs in the bottom of the frame to walk away with the win. Louis Fenerali and Michael Greenwood banged out three hits apiece while Patrick Sullivan collected two. For Tree Service, Ryan Tita belted a grand slam and drove in five runs as Ian Kirner collected three hits and pitched two strong innings. Mark Agugliari played well in the field.

Newtown Tree Service 12, Sallyport Global Holdings 2 – Ryan Tita banged out three hits – including a home run – and drove in four runs to lead Newtown Tree. Ryan Cassidy had three hits and scored three runs as Anthony Maki pitched well and hit a big two-run double in the first inning.

Newtown Savings Bank 7, Enterprise Electric 6 – Patrick Sullivan, Michael Greenwood and Ryan Kleinert combined for six strong innings on the mound to lift Newtown Savings to the win. Riley Wurtz played well in the field. For Enterprise, Eric Terhaar and Richie Sandler each walked twice, stole four bases, and scored two runs, while Matt Pruner had a key base hit in a three-run, sixth-inning rally that just fell short.

Mastercard 10, Hickey Septic 9 – Alex Roche belted an inside-the-park homer and Matt Rahtelli drove in five runs to lead Mastercard. Nick Gerbo (3-for-3, 3 runs scored) and Mike Allwein (2-for-2, 3 runs scored) fueled the Tomahawk offense. For  Hickey Septic, Josh Villa and Stefan Hennessy each had a pair of hits.

Mastercard 12, TR Paul 7 – Strong pitching by Jon Hull and  Nick Gerbo carried Mastercard to the win. At the plate, Vikram Makayee rapped a pair of hits and Mike Allwein and Ty Gibney each scored three runs. For TR Paul, Sam Ashey hurled two strong innings and hit a double.  John Paul Blanco went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Ryan Daignault scored a pair of runs as well.
