Anda Styler Returning For SCAN

At the next meeting of The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, Inc. (SCAN), Anda Styler of New Milford will be doing an acrylic landscape painting. The demonstration and meeting will be on Wednesday, October 27, beginning at 1:30 pm.

The program will be at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street in Newtown (at the flagpole).

Ms Styler has a BA in fine art from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Her paintings have won many awards and honors, and she has had her work published in many prestigious books and magazines.

In November 1995, she authored an article on acrylic painting techniques for The Artist’s Magazine and had six full color works published in the North Light publication Acrylic Painting Techniques by Earl Killeen.

Her work has been exhibited extensively over the years in both one woman and group shows. She is represented by several galleries, including Beaux Arts in Woodbury.

SCAN meetings are always open to the public, free of charge.
