Beloved Wife,

Daughter, And Sister

Anna Barbara Werner, 57, of Newtown, died December 1, at Danbury Hospital, from injuries received after being hit by an automobile in North Salem, N.Y. Mrs Werner was the beloved wife of Gary A. Werner. She was born in Slupsk, Poland, on January 1, 1952, a daughter of Zygmunt and Wladyslawa (Bochra) Skwara.

Ms Werner had been a resident and citizen of the United States for the past 48 years. She grew up and was educated in New Britain. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BS degree in accounting, and was employed as a financial consultant for Jefferson Wells in New York City.

Always full of life and energy, she was totally dedicated to family and friends. She was compassionate to the core and was always placed others before herself. She leaves friends and family wondering how to go on without her.

In addition to her husband of nine years, Ms Werner is survived by her immediate family in Tampa, Fla., including her mother and father; sister, Maria Millett and husband, Claude; sister, Elizabeth Skwara; niece, Diane DiPietro and husband, Mario; and nephew, Michael Millett and wife, Stephanie.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations may be made to her two favorite charities, the Special Olympics at specialolympics.org and Children International at Children.org.
