Art in Residence Gallery will host a public open house on Sunday, January 26, from 1 to 4 pm.

The gallery, set up in the home of Rosemary and Robert Rau, features original works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and mixed media. The gallery opened in November. Its mission is to offer visitors a unique setting for artwork, and the opportunity to better imagine what artwork will look like in a home setting.

In addition, the Raus offer an iPad portfolio, which allows them to visit potential clients their homes to see art at their convenience.

Art in Residence is at 12 Lake Road. It is open by appointment.

“Look for our flowers in bloom mailbox,” said Mrs Rau.
