Police Investigate Malicious Graffiti Incident
Police are investigating vandalism that occurred at a South Main Street business, involving graffiti.
Police said they learned on the morning of February 5 that someone had used spreadable cheese to write malicious graffiti on windows at Northeast Cabinet Design at 99 South Main Street and on the windows of a nearby parked vehicle.
Symbols depicted in the graffiti included the swastika and the Star of David, according to police. Police did not disclose if they are pursuing the case as a hate crime.
The incident occurred sometime between 5 pm February 4, and 7:45 am February 5, police said.
