W. Burton Lee
W. Burton Lee, 89, of Washington Avenue, Danbury, devoted husband of Frances (Gallo) Lee, died at Bridgeport Hospital on Monday, May 10.
He was born in Danbury on August 15, 1914, son of the late Burton and Lula (Light) Lee.
Mr Lee worked as a machinist for DuPont-Sorvall in Newtown, and for Amphenol in Danbury. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed playing cards, golf, and fishing.
Besides Frances, his devoted wife of 45 years, he is survived by two sons, Burton âBusterâ Lee and his wife Laura of Danbury, Michael Lee and his fiancée Kimberly Readmon of McKinney, Texas; his stepson, Robert Bourque and his wife Terry of Danbury; his stepdaughter, Linda Ahlgren and her husband Donald of Garland, Texas; two granddaughters, Robin Lamontagne and her husband Dan, Susan Cirello and her husband Mike; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Brody; and two sisters, Arlene Ely of Danbury, and Helen Dickens of Wyoming; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
