Newtown Knights 16, Aspetuck 4 â The Knights upped their record to 5-1as Tyler Edwards drove in four runs with a single and bases-loaded triple. Keith McGrath added a double and triple, knocking home two runs. Jeff Spencer had two hits while Evan Barreto (triple), Tory Deakin (double), Nate Crevier and Dale Neves all contributed to the 10-hit attack. Jeff DiNicola turned in a solid pitching performance.

Newtown Tree Service 7, Connolly Woodworks 6 â Clayton Makuch went 2-for-3 at the plate and pitched well, striking out the side and yielding no runs, but Connolly Woodworks fell. Sean Connolly and Will Arndt were strong in relief to help push the game into extra innings. Ryan OâKeefe was solid defensively making a great catch in centerfield.
Connolly Woodworks 5, Sallyport Global Holdings 3 â Will Arndt and Oliver Powers had two hits apiece to help propel Connolly Woodworks to the win. Gregg Williamson ensured the victory with the go-ahead RBI single. Timmy Wilder had a hit and scored three runs to help secure the win. Jeff Grasso was solid in the field turning two clutch putouts.
Enterprise Electric 12, Stonybrook Development 8 â Mack Morlund had two base hits and four RBIs to lead Enterprise while Kyler Harmeling had a nice catch in leftfield to shut down a rally. For Stonybrook, Sean Dardine led the offensive attack with three hits. Connor Pineau, Keyle Watts and Don Morrissey also had key hits.
Stonybrook Development 6, Newtown Tree Service 5 â Austin Puleri drove in the winning run with one out in the bottom of the seventh to lead Stonybrook. Sean Burson had two hits. Austin Puleri, Brandon Ziman, Robbie Daigle, Connor Blanc, Sean Burson and Chris Tenney combined on the mound for the win.
Sallyport Global Holdings 5, Connolly Woodworks 4 â Back-to-back RBI singles by Sean Connolly and Ryan OâKeefe led Connolly Woodworks in a loss to Sallyport. Clayton Makuch turned a nifty double play at short to thwart a potential rally in the first and Tim Bloom, Sean Connolly and Will Arndt pitched solidly.
Connolly Woodworks 12, Newtown Tree Service 2 â Oliver Powers blasted a three-run homer to lead the offensive effort for Connolly Woodworks. Ryan OâKeefe and Clayton Makuch each went 3-for-3, scoring two runs apiece to help pace the offensive outburst. Powers and Will Arndt pitched solid ball, striking out five batters each.

Lee Demers 13, TR Paul 10 â JP Blanco went 2-for-3, homered and drove in five runs but TR Paul still fell to Lee Demers. Kyle Morrissey and Ryan Daignault each went 3-for-3 in a losing effort. For Demers, Nick Barreto went 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park homer while Patrick Thornberg went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Dan Gustafson pitched well.
Mastercard 9, AERCO International 5 â Brock Chimileski had a pair of hits and drove in three runs to lead Mastercard. Nick Gerbo (3-for-3) and Jon Hull (2-for-3, double) also chipped in. For Aerco, Kevin Sphunt nailed a triple and catcher Mike Newman excelled by blocking a number of pitches behind the dish. Colton Sposta turned in a couple of strong innings on the mound, striking out four batters.

AERCO International 7, Fairfield County Irrigation 2 â Harrison DePuy went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI and two runs scored to lead AERCO. Matt Hess pitched well. For FCI, Nick Eisele had two hits while Brandon OâSullivan and Daniel Collucci were strong in the field.
DaSilva Law Firm 12, AERCO International 2 â Darryl Silverlieb and Logan Walsh had three hits and three runs apiece to lead DaSilva. Kevin Liniger and Stephen Grasso sparked the defense. For AERCO, Nicholas Nelson and Nick Lotrecchiano each two hits apiece â Lotrecchianoi doubling in two runs.
Robert S. Ponsky DDS 4, Taunton Press 4 â Wiley Zahansky and Will Swain had three hits each and Nate Steinebrey caught a nice game to lead Ponsky. Cory Pineau played well in the field. Alex Bedini and Michael Cirone went 2-for-3 to lead the Taunton offense. Matt Lindell and Ryan Rosenberger pitched well.
Associated Refuse 9, Robert S. Ponsky DDS 2 â Richie Sadlon, Jordan Abraham and Stephen Price combined to pitch three scoreless innings and lead Associated to the win. Jim Parker and Deegan Beauchemin helped power the offense. For Ponsky, Cory Pineau pitched well, Matt Janco was solid behind the dish, and Sean McCafferty played well at first.
Mobil 1 Lube Express 16, Coldwell Banker/Bob Tendler 1 â Max Ruscinski and Corey Haas played well for Mobil 1 as Jack OâBrien and Peter Manfredonia had two hits apiece for Coldwell.
Mobil 1 Lube Express 4, Greentree Toyota 0 â Markus Elken pitched well to lead Mobil 1. Chris Daly and Colton Moroney had two hits each for Greentree.
Mobil 1 Lube Express 8, Apex Glass 0 â Colton Smith had a superb day at shortstop to lead Mobil 1. Jonathan Sherman struck out the side in the fourth inning. For Apex, Knute Johnson went 2-for-2 while Nathan Cooper pitched well.
Fairfield County Irrigation 3, Honeywell 3 â Virgil Procaccini and Luca Imbimbo had two hits apiece, including a double, to lead FCI. Ricky LaPak pitched well. Strong pitching performances by Nick Roche and Nick Cirone and some timely hitting from Nate Dowd led a Honeywell comeback.
Honeywell 8, Taunton Press 4 â Jason Ferrari went 4-for-4 while Eric Street went 3-for-3 to lead Honeywell. Connor Miller pitched well in his debut on the mound. For Taunton, Matt Lindell went 3-for-3 and Robby Lasher went 4-for-4 with a clutch double. Jordan Salvesen pitched well.
Apex Glass 5, Associated Refuse 4 â Mark Dowling and Will Dalton had three hits apiece and Harry Duffy drove in a pair of runs to lead Apex. Victor Vasquez pitched well. For Associated, Connor Lemay had two hits, Jim Parker and Clayton Gattey tossed scoreless innings in their pitching debuts, and Alex Klang snagged a line drive and completed a 4-3 double play to spark the defense.
Greentree Toyota 6, Coldwell Banker/Bob Tendler 1 â Kai Hedin and Jared Tenenbaum each went 3-for-3 as Greentree took the win. Patrick Berger, Troy Frangione and Jacob Burden combined on the hill. For Coldwell, Kevin Ovendorf had two hits and Christopher Calo pitched well.
BW Retail R.E. Group 7, DaSilva Law Firm 6 â Brianna Baranowski had hit, scored a run, and pitched a crucial scoreless inning to lead BW Retail to the win. Michael Unschuld sparkled in the field and also had a hit and a run scored. Anthony Vournazos went 2-for-2 at the plate. For DaSilva, Jeremy Fellin, Andy Braun and Calvin Witteveen pitched well while Christian Klein made a fine unassisted play at third.
BW Retail R.E. Group 9, Coldwell Banker/Bob Tendler 2 â Zach Aumueller went 2-for-2 and drove in two runs while Curtis Williamson struck out three batters in a row in the fourth inning to lead BW Retail to the win. For Coldwell, Travis Audet had a pair of hits and Kevin Conte pitched well.
