Blood Pressure Screening Aug. 24

Free blood pressure screenings will be held in Newtown on Wednesdays, August 24 and 31.

The Danbury Visiting Nurse Association will hold a free screening at the Senior Center on Riverside Road from 1 to 2 pm on August 24.

The Ashlar of Newtown Nursing Department will sponsor a blood pressure screening from 10 am to noon on August 31 at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library on Main Street. A registered nurse will conduct the screening.

The Connecticut Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) will hold a blood pressure screening at Nunnawauk Meadows on Nunnawauk Road from 11 am to noon on August 31.

The public is invited to all of the free screenings.
